Motorinvest will start selling the Chinese Dongfeng DF6 pickup truck

The Lipetsk automaker Motorinvest will launch sales of the Chinese pickup truck Dongfeng DF6 in Russia, the company said.

«Motorinvest LLC, the official distributor of Dongfeng cars in Russia, presents the Dongfeng DF6 all-wheel drive frame pickup truck. <…> At the start of official sales, the Dongfeng DF6 will be available in three versions: Comfort, Premium and Luxury,» the report says.

The car is equipped with airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control and electronic stabilization system. Depending on the configuration, the pickup truck can be equipped with one of two tubular diesel engines — a 2.5-liter and 136 horsepower or a 2.3-liter and 163 horsepower.

Earlier, Motorinvest and Dongfeng Motor Rus signed a cooperation agreement under which Motorinvest acquires the rights to distribute and promote Dongfeng brand vehicles on the Russian market. Thus, the Lipetsk automaker has already started selling the Dongfeng Aeolus Shine Max sedan worth 3 million rubles. This is the first model of the Aeolus line, which Motorinvest started selling in Russia.
